About the Author

Eric Robespierre was born in New York City. He graduated from The Franklin School and received a BA from New York University, Washington Square College, where he majored in Art History. He graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with an MA in film.

Eric is a screenwriter, playwright and documentary film maker. He has also been an award-winning advertising copywriter creating major TV and Print campaigns for Mitsubishi and Izod Lacoste.

Beginning in 1992, in partnership with Sally Husk, the owner of Paris to Province Antiques and Interiors, he created a trend- setting web design firm specializing in antiques, home furnishings and interior design. One of their sites, The Directory of Design and Decoration advertized over fifty of the leading firms and attracted over a million hits a year.

In 2005, together with the personal trainer and diet coach Helen Brand, he wrote and published The Yummy Hunter's Guide: The Best-Tasting, Low-Calorie Foods And Where To Shop For Them. The 2005 and 2006 editions were among the top fifty most popular books on Amazon.com.

In 2010 Eric wrote and published Cracking the Walnut: How Being a Little Nuts Helped Me to Beat Prostate Cancer, a memoir of his fight to survive this deadly disease. This book continues to garner praise from doctors who call it a must read and from patients who find it humorous, poignant and uplifting.

In 2012 he wrote and published Living Large in America: The Life and Times of The Family Ginsburg (pronounced Du Pont). Readers have called this book wildly funny and one of the best examples of absurdist humor.

In 2010 Eric wrote and publishedLighten Up and Log In For Love: How Humor Helps Baby Boomers Survive Online Dating illustrates how laughter got him through the experience of online dating, with mind, body, and a sense of humor, still intact. Eric promises the book will leave the reader with the impression that even at our tender age, love and romance is still possible for his fellow baby boomers.

In 2019 Eric wrote and published. We Gave Them Life, Now They Are Trying To Tak Ours: How To Talk To Adult Children Before It's Too Late is a collection of heartfelt, true confessions by parents for parents of adult children revealing the problems we all deal with if, we as parents, are to have an open, honest and loving relationship with our kids.

In 2021 Eric Wrote and published Sex, Meds, Livin’ The Covid Life This is the story of one man’s desire to survive the pandemic by changing identities and escaping
into a world of sexual fantasy. The rub occurs when he has to decide either return to his original self or permanently become someone new.

Eric's latest book is a continuation of Bernie Max's desire to survive the pandemic by changing identities and escaping into a world of sexual fantasy.This time, Bernie accomplishes is goal when he joins the BackAgain.com hookup site.
